Her work is in numerous private and public collections including Nations Bank, Nexus Contemporary Art Museum and The University of Georgia. She is a recipient of Georgia Council of the Arts Individual Artist Grant. Numerous other organizational and individual commissions for jewelry and other art objects over the part twenty-five years.

Her work has been displayed in numerous exhibitions from California to Baltimore, from Atlanta to Italy to Melbourne, Australia, including exhibitions that traveled throughout the US and Australia.
Barbara has led many workshops and taught numerous courses in Georgia and Italy and was Artist-in-Residence for the University of Georgia Summer Studies Abroad in Cortona, Italy in 1978, 1979, 1997 and 2000.
